Soundtracks of Sacrifice: Commemorating D-Day in Music

Tank Park
Saturday, June 8, 7:30 pm

Join us for a special evening of music and remembrance as the West Suburban Symphony pays tribute to the 80th anniversary of D-Day. This commemorative performance will feature stirring patriotic and military music, including the Band of Brothers Suite and the Saving Private Ryan theme, among other notable selections.

The concert will commence with a poignant introduction from the First Division Museum’s curator, Jessica Waszak, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and appreciation. As we honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who participated in the historic invasion of Normandy, there will be a solemn moment of silence to remember and honor the lives lost during this pivotal event in history.

Gather with us under the open sky of Tank Park at Cantigny, as we come together to pay homage to the courage and valor of those who served on D-Day. This performance by the West Suburban Symphony promises to be a moving and memorable experience for all in attendance.
