Iron Horse is much more than just your average rockabilly band! Whether they're covering a song from their large reportoire, taking requests for your favorite tune, or playing one of their favored originals, Iron Horse breathes new life into their brand of "Western Bop." Iron Horse appeals to all ages and personalities. After seeing the band live, comments such as "One of the best live bands I've ever seen" don't go unconfirmed. With an exciting live show and the talent to match it, no one leaves without a smile on their face. From private parties, clubs and bars, to weddings, festivals, and corporate functions, Iron Horse is the right choice for any occasion. In 2006, Iron Horse headed to Memphis, Tennessee to record their first album at the world famous Sun Studio, otherwise known as "The Birthplace of Rock and Roll". Engineered by James Lott, who has engineered sessions for U2, Tom Petty, Justin Timberlake, John Melloncamp, Billy Bob Thornton, Carl Perkins, and Scotty Moore, among MANY others, the boys released "Iron Horse: Live at Sun Studio". In 2008, they returned to Memphis, this time to record a brand new album under Roland Janes at the legendary Sam Philips Recording Studio. Come out and see why Roland Janes, legendary guitarist in the Sun Records house band, Jerry Lee Lewis' guitar player, and founding member of Billy Lee Riley's, "Little Green Men", says that "Iron Horse is one of the most talented bands that I've seen in a long time!" All concerts feature lawn seating; guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Concerts are free with regular parking fee admission. For those wishing to dine before the concert, lunch is served at LeJardin Restaurant from 11 am - 2 pm.
