Celebrate the Season: Holiday Festival Saturday, December 7 4 pm - 7 pm Free event; parking fee applies Families and children of all ages are invited to Cantigny Park for the “Celebrate the Season” holiday festival from 4 – 7 pm. The park will be decorated for the holidays, and an assortment of activities and offerings are planned to kick off the season in style. Attractions will include: · Tree Lighting Ceremony · Kris Greengle Market · Ice Carving Demonstrations · Carolers · Live Reindeer Display · Children’s Craft · Facepainting($1/person) · Sleigh Rides ($1/person) · A Visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus Kris Greengle Market Saturday, December 7 10 am - 7 pm Visitors Center Free event; parking fee applies We're dreaming of a Green Christmas! Stop by our Kris Greengle Market and get a jump on your holiday shopping, while keeping it clean and green for the environment. Our eco-friendly market is open from 10 am - 7 pm, featuring a variety of local eco vendors selling their goods. Do you have an eco-friendly product line? Become a vendor! McCormick Museum Activities The McCormick Museum will host a special open house from 5 to 8 pm featuring seven Christmas trees decorated by local non-profit groups. Vistiors are encouraged to support these charities and vote for their favorite tree. Each charity will receive a donation from the McCormick Foundation. In addition, kids (and parents) can meet Mrs. Claus who will be telling stories in Freedom Hall in front of a stunning tree decorated by Phillip's Flowers and Gifts. Follow the luminary lined path from the Visitors Center to the McCormick Museum.
