Celebrate the Season Holiday Festival

1 – 7 pm
Families and children of all ages are invited to Cantigny Park to “Celebrate the Season.” The park will be fabulously festive and full of good cheer!
Storytelling with Mrs. Claus
Visitors Center Theater
The First Lady of the North Pole will read classic holiday stories inside the theater throughout the evening. 1-3:30 pm and 4-7 pm.
Ornament Decoration Craft
Joseph Medill Room, Visitors Center
Decorate an ornament. ($5 while supplies last – cash only)
Photos with Santa
Bring your best smile and take your picture with Jolly Old St. Nick. 1-3:45 pm and 4:15-7 pm.
Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides
South Parking Lot
Horses will take breaks as needed and rides will end promptly at 7 pm even if there is still a line. ($2/person – cash only)
Photos with Rudolph and Frosty
Get a pic with two of the season’s favorite characters. Watch for them strolling about in the Visitors Center and outside, too!
Live Classical Music
First Division Museum
Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Wheaton College will be performing in the First Division Museum. Vivace, Cello Choir, Viola Choir, Violin Ensemble, and various chamber ensemble students will be featured during the day. CSA, established in 1970, provides excellence in music education through degreed instructors and proven teaching methods. CSA offers a variety of comprehensive music programs for all ages and ability levels.
2:00-2:30: Violin Ensemble

4:45-5:15: Viola Choir
5:15-6:15: Chamber Ensembles
Holiday History Hike
Visitors Center, 5 pm
Join us as we spread tidings of comfort and joy and rock around the park. We will feature nine amazing songs, six Cantigny stops, four historic stories, and a partridge in a pear tree.
The hike will last about 45 minutes. Be sure to dress for the weather, and festive holiday sweaters, hats, and accessories are highly encouraged! This event is weather dependent and will not run if the temperature is below 30 degrees, or if it’s raining or icy.
Toys for Tots
Visitors to the park are encouraged to donate a new and unwrapped toy for the Marine Toys for Tots drop boxes inside the Cantigny Visitors Center. Those who bring a toy will receive FREE parking.
