This Month’s Topic: Unbelievable Stories from World War I
During World War I, several First Division soldiers and civilians distinguished themselves through acts of valor while others exhibited tremendous compassion in caring for the sick and wounded. We’ll be discussing a few individuals whose unique stories offer a glimpse into the lives of those who served on the front lines and in the trenches. The actions of Rosamond Barret, Dan Edwards, and Lewis J.C. Poppe all merit a closer look at their roles in the Great War.
This program includes built-in closed captioning through Zoom.
