Meet in front of the Visitors Center by the doughboy statue.
The creation of an Alebrije is a long process and often starts with a sketch. Artists find their inspiration from all kinds of places to create art. Public Engagement Coordinator, Chris Corrigan, joined by artist, Ana Myers, will guide budding artists on this journey of creativity. Learn about the inspirations behind the Alebrijes in the park, how to tap into your own “dream world” to find your creativity, and then sketch the Alebrije that lives within you.
This program is for those just learning to tap into their creative side who want to begin their artistic journeys. We will learn about Alebjries, the artists who created them, and sketch our own unique Alebrijes.
Your parking and art supplies are covered in the cost of this program.
