Lunch & Learn!

Robert R. McCormick House Freedom Hall
12:00 – 1:00pm
Free program, but registration is required and the parking fee applies
Ages:  14 & Up

Join us on the third Thursday of the month July through December for a lunch and learn opportunity! We’ll be exploring topics related to Cantigny Park and local history. Bring a sack lunch from home and have a snack while you learn!

Registration is required due to limited space. The first session of 2019 will be held at the McCormick House library, known as Freedom Hall. It is a short 5-7 minute walk from the Visitor Center.

Speaker for this month: Liz Omura from the Cantigny Horticulture department will talk about “Hiring the Right Plant for the Job!” So, you say you have a black thumb? Nonsense! You’ve got to put the right plant in the right place for success—if you’ve met with failure in the past it could be that you just didn’t “hire” the right candidate. We’ll go through the criteria so your next gardening project will boost your confidence.
