Cantigny Summer Concert Series
Shining Star
Parade Field
Monday, September 4, 3-5 pm
Eleven highly talented vocalists and musicians harmoniously join forces to present A TRIBUTE TO EARTH, WIND AND FIRE, a celebration of the four-decade-strong success, popularity, and resilience of one of the most successful musical acts in history.
This year marks Earth, Wind & Fire’s 40th anniversary. Maurice White, along with his brother Verdine, and Philip Bailey began in the sixties as R&B’s first super crossover
group, and in the seventies became just that in the music industry.
This concert is outdoors and features lawn seating. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, and picnics are welcome. A designated area will be reserved for guests with pop-up tents and canopies.
Concessions are available from Mamie’s Toffee and Treats and Saucy Kat Food Truck. Standard concert etiquette applies. Please be respectful of your neighbors so that everyone can enjoy the show. No smoking in the seating area. No pets. No alcohol.
