Report to Family Fun for the Army’s 250th Anniversary!

Join us for a day packed with hands-on fun as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States Army! Meet active-duty soldiers, get creative with hands-on camo crafts, step back in time and see soldier’s equipment throughout history, and more.

Recognition Ceremony, 12 pm

In recognition of the Army’s 250th Birthday the AUSA (Association of the US Army) MOWW (Military Order of World Wars) and the ESGR (Illinois Committee for Employer Support Guard and Reserve) will be recognizing the career of Colonel Robert R. McCormick at noon on Saturday, June 21. A plaque with the resolution passed by the Illinois General Assembly to recognize his career will be unveiled by the Doughboy statue in front of the Visitors Center.
