Second Saturday Family Program
McCormick House Freedom Hall
Noon – 3:00PM
Theme: story time!
Stories about Easter, animals, and farming suitable for younger children.
Robert R. McCormick loved to read and had over 5,000 books in his collection. He even wrote a few books! Here at the McCormick House we love books too and love sharing stories! On April 11th a few of our Program and Education Assistants will share some fun children’s books to tie into Spring.
On the Second Saturday of each month, March through November, McCormick House presents a drop-in family program from 12-3 pm. Locations will vary throughout the season. April’s Second Saturday will take place in the McCormick House’s historic library, Freedom Hall.
