Second Saturday Family Program

Story time!

McCormick House Freedom Hall
Noon – 3 pm

Stories about Easter, animals, and farming suitable for younger children

Robert R. McCormick loved to read and had over 5,000 books in his collection. He even wrote a few books! Here at the McCormick House we love books too and love sharing stories! On April 13th, we want to share some stories with you and your family. Hop on out to the historic Freedom Hall Library at the McCormick Mansion as we pair Robert’s love of books with the Easter theme happening throughout the park.

On the Second Saturday of each month, March through December, McCormick House presents a drop-in family program from 12-3 pm. Locations will vary throughout the season. April’s Second Saturday will take place in the McCormick House’s historic library, Freedom Hall.
