Spring Fling & Market

Let’s celebrate spring! We’re planning a full day of fun Spring Fling activities for the whole family, at the Cantigny greenhouse, Visitors Center and in the wonderful gardens and grounds in between.

Tour the greenhouse to see our beautiful flowers and plants before they ship out to the Cantigny gardens. You can chat up our horticulture staff and meet representatives from local “green institutions” that play key roles in our communities. After a peek inside the greenhouse, enjoy the music of the Gleeson Irish Trio and grab a bite from a local food truck or play a lawn game like corn hole or giant jenga. Kids will enjoy garden-themed crafts and storytime sessions highlighting the wonders of spring. Guided garden tours, History Hikes, and Tank Park tours will take place throughout the day.

At the Visitors Center, our Spring Fling Market will present the perfect opportunity to pick up a special Mother’s Day gift. Browse offerings from a wide variety of independent vendors and locally-owned businesses. From sweets and jewelry to artisan soap and stationery, you’ll find plenty of irresistible merchandise.

The Cantigny Park entry fee covers admission to all Spring Fling activities. Parking is at the Visitors Center. Trams will be available to and from the greenhouse.
