A Magical Night in the Gardens
Thursday, June 29, 6-9 pm
Due to weather and poor air quality, this event will be held in the Visitors Center
Talk about a “magical night” — this will be one to remember! Six amazing magicians will perform card tricks, slight-of-hand, and close-up magic.
A nice selection of food trucks will be on site, or bring a picnic from home. The Cantigny food and beverage team will offer a specially themed cocktail. On this night, the drink is Magic Mule (Vodka, Ginger Beer, Lime, and Butterfly Pea Flower Tea). Beer and wine will be available, too, including refreshing Cantigny Kolsch, brewed for us by 93 Octane Brewery in St. Charles.
Meet the Magicians
The Great Boodini is a magician, juggler, visual artist and teacher! He’s an award-winning magician whose accolades include Best of The Year Award for nine years in a row (GigCompany). He was also the Headline Act for Waukesha’s Potter Fest 2018 and featured at River’s Casino and The Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island. His magic has been featured on television on WCIU the U networks.
Mark Doetsch has been amazing audiences with his mind-blowing magic for over 25 years. His magic has been featured on national television and Mark was a recent FOOLER on Penn & Teller’s FOOL US TV show.
John Jurney is well respected in the magic community for his unique and original magic creations. His inventions and creations are used by magicians all over the world.
Dan Brander features great magic…relatively pain free. His years of training and performances produce an entertainment value that not only satisfies, but keeps clients calling for repeat performances.
Nick Gasparro specializes in slight-of-hand close-up magic and mentalism. His effects are visual and direct with fascinating philosophical undertones and engaging themes — all are devastatingly deceptive!
William Wheeler has been performing and studying magic for over 30 years. He primarily focuses on close-up magic with cards, coins and other items. His tricks are designed for smaller, intimate groups.
