Early Childhood Programs
Cantigny hopes to build on children’s sense of wonder by offering opportunities to explore nature and the world around them. Cantigny Park's core early childhood classes include Inchworms, Sprouts, Doodlebugs, and Music Together. These popular early childhood classes are perennial favorites and are offered throughout each season.
Introduce your little one to nature through songs, simple crafts and outdoor exploration. A different theme is explored each session for engaging hands-on discovery and play! This is a parent/child class geared towards children 18-36 months. Registration is required.
Young children ages 3-5 are invited to explore seasonal nature topics through stories, hands-on activities, outdoor play and crafts designed to foster a love and respect for the natural world. Each session meets three consecutive weeks to build upon each month’s theme. This is a parent/child class. Registration is required.
Does your child enjoy art? Drop off your child for a fun hour of art exploration! Each week’s activities will be based around a theme. Little artist will experiment with a variety of art mediums and hopefully develop a love for art. The sessions run three times a month for children ages 4-6. Registration is required.
Note – Early Childhood programs for 2019 will begin in March.
