SUMMARY:America 250 Garden Walk
DESCRIPTION:America 250 Garden Walk\nThursday July 9\, 6 pm\nMeet your guide in the Visitors Center\n$25 (includes one canned or bottled beverage) \nWander the gardens\, accompanied by Director of Horticulture Jamie Burghardt\, and absorb the narrative story of this year’s display theme\, America 250. Several key components of modern everyday Americana either debuted or were catapulted into fame by Chicago’s 1893 Columbian exposition. From architecture to snack foods to the democratic sense of what being part of America meant\, the Fair inspires props that are further interpreted with Cantigny’s renowned seasonal summer displays. Discover more about the fabrication of our signature fabric art piece\, Gallantly Streaming\, in the patriotic-colored Upper Garden. Your ticket includes one canned or bottled beverage/refreshment during this 90-minute stroll.\n\nRegister
