West Suburban Symphony: Cinema Classics

The always entertaining West Suburban Symphony, led by Maestro Peter Lipari, presents “Cinema Classics,” a performance of legendary music from hit movies from the mid-20th century forward. The evening will feature the music of John Williams, Erich Korngold, Mel Brooks, and others, with selections from Star Trek and Harry Potter films, The Producers, King Kong, 1941, Lincoln, The Cowboys, Sea Hawk, and Robin Hood and His Merry Men. The program also includes the symphony’s traditional salute to veterans, with a sing-along to the anthems of the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Seating is on the lawn. Folding chairs and/or blankets are recommended. Concessions available for sale; picnics welcome. No tickets or registration needed.
