Christmas at Cantigny

The inaugural Christmas at Cantigny celebrates the new McCormick House and brings Christmas lights, music, and family fun to the gardens and grounds.

Watch for exciting pop-up attractions and activities during the festival, including photos with Santa (Dec 2-3), musical performances and a new ice skating rink outside the Visitors Center.

McCormick House and Gardens: Lights and Music

The renovated McCormick House will be open to the public for the first time since 2020, with the first floor lavishly decorated for the holidays.

Cantigny’s holiday light show offers a magical experience. Walk a guided path through the gardens and be captivated by lighting that enhances traditional holiday decorations. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit and don’t miss the chance to admire the hundreds of famous Cantigny poinsettias on display inside the house.

Admission to the McCormick House and Light Show is $15 per adult, $5 per child (ages 3-15).

Cantigny Ice Rink

Enjoy a scenic outdoor skate at our new rink on the Parade Field. Admission to the rink is $7; spectator access is free. Skates are available for rent for $3. Rink access and skate rental are available on-site.

All skaters must fill out a participation waiver in order to enter the rink.

Sign Waiver

Warm up with a hot beverage and snack in our heated hospitality tent overlooking the ice rink.

Reserve a Cocoa Cabana!
Enjoy a cozy experience in a Cocoa Cabana at Cantigny’s new Ice Skating Rink.

Cocoa Cabanas provide an exclusive area for your friends and family to gather round the fire, enjoy some delicious snacks, tasty libations right next to the Ice Rink. Each Cocoa Cabana has its own fire table and heater to help take off the edge of those brisk winter days.

Cocoa Cabanas may be reserved ahead of time or when you arrive, however availability is limited, so book yours while supplies last!

Each Cocoa Cabana rental features your choice of three options to meet your needs, starting at $75 plus a food and beverage minimum.

Cantigny is closed on Mondays in December.

Poinsettias

Up to 16 varieties of poinsettia will be on display in the McCormick House during Christmas at Cantigny. Plants will also be available for sale at the Visitors Center while supplies last.
