The DuPage Symphony joins the nation-wide celebration of “America 250” with a festive outdoor concert that celebrates the rich history, culture, and peoples of our vast country. Works by iconic American composers such as Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, and William Grant Still – plus an array of folk song medleys and Broadway highlights – make up this colorful, exuberant, and varied program. Commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States with the highly-acclaimed, award-winning DuPage Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of long-time Music Director Barbara Schubert, in the beautiful setting of Cantigny Park!
Sounds of Summer Concert Series
For over 30 years, Cantigny has presented great live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. The centralized location allows guests to enjoy a variety of delicious food and beverage options before or during concerts at Cantigny’s Beer Garden and Cafe.
