Wheaton Municipal Band
Tank Park
June 13, 7 – 9 pm
The Wheaton Municipal Band, known as one of the finest of its kind in the United States, presents free concerts on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm in Memorial Park in downtown Wheaton. The 2026 season begins on June 11 with a concert at Cantigny on June 13 at 7:00 pm. 80-90 masterful musicians come together to put on wonderful programming selected by the Music Director, Dr. Bruce Moss. Concert bands traditionally are central to American patriotic celebrations, because they are deeply rooted in military history. Bands played a critical role in boosting troop morale and rousing patriotic spirit. This summer is chock full of exciting concerts that celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America.
