Cantigny Fall Festival

Saturday, October 12: 10 am – 11 pm
For the second year in a row, our fall festival will be an entire weekend! The fun begins Friday night, October 11, from 4 – 11 pm with live music on the Cantigny parade field! Cozy up on the Adirondacks around a firepit or play lawn games. We’ll do it again on Saturday night after a fun day featuring over 50 craft vendors, hayrides ($1/person), petting zoo ($1/person, $1/cup of food), live music and entertainment, kids’ craft ($5/ceramic pumpkin), and pumpkin ($5/ea) and plant sales. Our three-day festival concludes at 4 pm on Sunday with another full day of colorful, seasonal fun for the whole family.
Saturday Highlights
Biergarten: 10 am – 11 pm
The Fall Fest Biergarten features live entertainment throughout the weekend, seasonal favorite foods, and a top-notch selection of seasonal and craft beers.
With smoked sausages, pierogies, pretzels and more, the whole family will certainly find something delicious in the Biergarten.

7 – 10 pm: Mackenzie O’Brien Band
Mackenzie O’Brien and her band have been on a trajectory upwards since forming several years ago. They have established themselves as the number one young country band in the area by heading festivals in four states and by appearing at the nationally famous Country Thunder festival three straight years! The band has also played concerts for US99 Country Radio, Budweiser, The Chicago Cubs, The Chicago White Sox, and some of the largest venues in Chicago, Indiana, and in Madison, Wisconsin! Mackenzie and her band are recognized within the industry and have been hired to open for numerous country stars like Rodney Atkins, LoneStar, Chris Janson, Lee Brice, Jordan Davis, Pam Tillis, Chris Cagle, Ryan Hurd, Parker McCollum, Kylie Morgan, and many others.

Walking Tours
Walking ToursJoin Horticulture staff for a walk around Cantigny’s grounds, focusing on our mum displays. Tours will depart from the back of the Visitors Center at 11 am, 12:30, 2, and 3:15 pm. The walks are expected to last no more than 60 minutes, but feel free to join or leave at any point along the way!
