Celebrate the grand reopening of the McCormick House with a weekend full of engaging activities. Discover Then/Now photo stations throughout the exterior of the house to see how it looked when the McCormicks lived here, and how the property has evolved over time. Snap a photo at our “Pose Like Bertie” station on the East Lawn, then make your way to the front circle for a historic vehicle display (Saturday only, until 3 pm).
Head to the Gold Theater to watch clips from movies filmed at Cantigny, add your creativity to the Monster Mural, design your own bookplate, or step into character at the WGN Radio dress-up station.
As the evening unfolds, unwind with live piano music in Freedom Hall from 4:30–8:00 pm while you sip a cocktail and enjoy light bites.
