Accessibility
All of our buildings and pathways are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
Pathways
Our main pathways are paved and many of our garden pathways utilize small pebbles, which are fully wheelchair and stroller accessible. We also have many benches throughout the grounds if you need a little break along the way.
Wheelchairs
Do you need a bit more help? We have a few wheelchairs available for our guests at no charge. Visit the kiosk in the Visitors Center to sign one out. You will be required to leave your driver’s license or some form of ID to check one out, but it is yours for the day. Check out time begins at 9 am and they must be returned by the time the Visitors Center closes. Visit our Visitors Center page to see the hours.
Tram
We have a tram available to visitors who need assistance moving between attractions. If you need assistance, ask any employee at any location and they will call the tram to pick you up.
EnChroma Glasses
Fully experience the beauty of our gardens and museum by reserving a pair of EnChroma glasses which enable the colorblind to see the entire color spectrum. Cantigny offers EnChroma glasses for both indoor and outdoor use, as well as options for children and those who already wear glasses. For more information or to reserve a pair, please contact us at seecolor@cantigny.org or call 630.260.8162. A $75 deposit will be required upon check in and will be fully refunded when the glasses are returned in good condition. Please note, during times of high demand we reserve the right to limit the duration of use.
