Girl Scout Badge Programs
America 250 Scout Tour
Limited-time experience (Fall 2025 – Fall 2026)
Gear up to celebrate the USA’s 250th birthday with your troop! Scouts will journey through U.S. military history with hands-on games and tales of real-life heroes spanning from World War I to the present day. Along the way, scouts will discover the power of teamwork and what it means to make history. Each Scout will receive a special America 250-themed fun patch!
Hours: Please select a start time after 4:30 pm when booking, as this program is only offered after regular museum hours.
Ages: Grades 4 and up

Daisies
Rosie Petal
Rosie helps to make the world a better place, and so can you! Participate in a recycling relay and complete a craft that reduces trash. Earn your Rosie petal while making a difference in the world!
1 hour | $5 per Girl Scout
Brownies
Legacy: Citizen: Celebrating Community
Explore our community’s past through symbols and music. Tour the First Division Museum and learn to march like a soldier. Then create a banner and symbols for your Troop to take home.

STEM: Automotive Design
Discover how the U.S. Army has safely moved soldiers and their supplies throughout history! Scouts will create unique designs and sculpt vehicles of the future to help keep soldiers safe. From soldiers on foot to personnel carriers, it’s a wild ride through vehicle innovation!

Juniors
Skill Building: Detective
The Cantigny Military Police (MPs) are willing to share secrets about coded communication, fingerprinting, and other detective science. The Scouts will use these skills to solve their own mystery.

Skill Building: Playing the Past
Learn about famous females from America’s past. Get into character with costume accessories, activities from their daily lives, games, and music.

Cadettes
Skill Building: Night Owl
The world looks different when the lights go out. Explore Cantigny Park at night and create night art. Use a starlight scope and night vision goggles to find beacons and infrared beams. Be ready for anything – the Cantigny woodlands can be very interesting after dark. We suggest pairing this program with a campout.
